Is anyone else done with the election coverage, commercials, and campaigning? We have had more phone calls to our house over the past two weeks than we normally get in over two months, and the majority of them have been about the presidential candidates. It's been a little fun living in on of the swing states this year. The candidates have visited Colorado multiple times, but it's starting to get old. I know who I'm voting for already, and I don't think there is much that is going to change my mind.
In case you are one of those people who doesn't know who you will vote for (Tricia, this would be directed at you...), there is a website that is suppose to help you decide which candidate most supports your values. It's called GlassBooth and it's not bad. I took the quiz and I found out that my choice also happens to be the best match for my values and opinions.
I have to say, I was a little relieved by this. I wasn't prepared to have to evaluate my own political viewpoints. Now I can be sure of my vote and go on remaining biased and slanted to my heart's content. Does it make it any better if I'm aware of what I do?
