Lance Armstrong Is My New Trainer

Recently, I've been running outside finding new trails and paths around our house. Part of running outside vs. running on a treadmill that I don't like is I never know exactly how far I've been going. Thanks to an iPod thing by Nike, that problem is solved.

Put the one thing on the iPod and the other thing on your shoe with some velcro - instant cool pedometer. It tells you how far, how long, and how fast you went. I'm a nerd. I like numbers. We get along well.

Plus, Lance Armstrong congratulates you when you set a new personal best. It's strangely motivating. I end up looking a little like this trying to set new marks, just to hear congratulations afterwards.

The wet spot beside me - that's where I was sitting right before the picture. I sweat.

A lot.

Oh, and don't forget to take a few breaths and stretch after you're done running. I hear it's good for you.
